You must have noticed: your friend claims that she is getting fat because of the potatoes, and the piece of meat your mother ate for another week is remembered with a number on the scales. The question arises: why do some people get better with seemingly harmless foods? The American doctor Peter D'Adamo found the answer: according to his theory, the main difference between people is not at all the weight, height and color of the skin, but the blood type. Find out how the blood group diet works.
Diet by blood group
In nature, there are four human blood groups, and therefore four types of food. Thus, the same product can ideally be suitable for one person, be useless for another and "neutral" for a third, and at the same time be the main pest of the nutritional system of the fourth.
Each blood group interacts in its own way with lecithins - the most important building blocks of cellular substances. Lecithins are found in all tissues of the human body and are regularly supplied with food. But at the same time, in terms of chemical composition, the lecithins contained, for example, in meat, differ from buckwheat lecithins. A blood group diet helps you choose exactly the lecithins that your body needs to function happily and harmoniously. And most importantly: the "good" lecithins are excellent aids in such a difficult matter as weight loss.
In his research, the legendary doctor also relied on the theory of evolution, according to which each blood group appears at different times. Thus, their first carriers had a certain occupation, and therefore taste habits. With Cosmo, research "ancestors by blood" and determine which products are necessary and important to you.
Diet for the first blood group
The first blood type was called "hunting". The correct diet for the first blood group is predictable and includes foods high in meat protein.
Say yes:
- Red meat;
- waste;
- protein vegetables (choose broccoli, beans and artichokes);
- fatty varieties of sea fish and seafood;
- olive oil;
- nuts.
Say no:
- foods rich in gluten (wheat, oats);
- dairy products with a high percentage of fat in legumes;
- any cabbage (including Brussels sprouts), as well as cauliflower.
Diet for the second blood group
Representatives of the second group are characterized as "farmers" and followers of vegetarianism and the fruity diet. Therefore, meat products are not the most desirable guest in the diet of the second blood group.
Say yes:
- all vegetables;
- vegetable oils;
- cereals and grains (with extreme caution - containing gluten);
- fruits such as pineapples, apricots, grapefruits, figs, lemons, plums;
Say no:
- dairy products;
- wheat dishes;
- beans (difficult to digest due to their high protein content);
- drinks like soda.
If you did not even think about giving up meat, choose dietary varieties: chicken, turkey, veal. And, unlike vegetarian advice, you can benefit from any type of lean fish.
Diet for the third blood group
The third group was named "nomads". Representatives of this group can be considered almost omnivorous: almost all products are adequately perceived by their bodies.
Say yes:
- sources of animal protein (preferably seafood and meat);
- eggs;
- all dairy products;
- cereals (except buckwheat and wheat);
- vegetables (except corn and tomatoes);
- various fruits.
Say no:
- pork and chicken;
- nuts, in particular peanuts;
- olive oil;
- alcohol.
The "nomads" quite rarely suffer from excess weight compared to others, which is why a diet according to the third blood group becomes above all a means of regulating the metabolism and maintaining good health.
Diet for the fourth blood group
The owners of the fourth D'Adamo blood group called it "puzzles". This group is considered the youngest of all, and it was formed as a result of the merger of the first and the second, so it combines both their advantages and disadvantages.
Say yes:
- soybeans in various forms (especially tofu);
- fish and caviar;
- dairy products of any fat content;
- green fruits and vegetables;
- rice;
- berries;
- dry red wine.
Say no:
- Red meat;
- waste;
- beans in any form;
- buckwheat, corn and wheat;
- fruits such as oranges, bananas, guavas, coconuts, mangoes, pomegranates, persimmons;
- mushrooms;
- nuts.
Because "mysterious" people are characterized by nervous instability, as well as a weak gastrointestinal tract. But the immune system of the owners of a rare fourth group is distinguished by its sensitivity and adaptability to all conditions.
According to D'Adamo, if you diet according to blood type, the elimination of excess weight will surely come once metabolic processes are established and cells begin to receive building materials.
